The client wanted to update and enlarge the paving and coping around the pool. The old paving is the original paving from when the pool was built in the early 70’s. We decided to go with 900mm x 600mm limestone paving and coping. We also managed to save the client thousands of pounds on bespoke CNC cut coping by hand cutting each one.

Small turfing job

The ground was extremely wet and waterlogged in the winter, so the timber decking didn’t last long. We replaced it with antique oak Millboard decking on a plastic-pro frame and finished it off with a western red cedar slatted screen.

Chestnut Post and rail all locally sourced with plain wire on top to make it deer proof.

A full back garden design and rebuild including new paving and Jackson’s fencing. The flower beds had metal edging installed, then we planted, mulch and installed an automatic drip irrigation system. To add more privacy, we also planted pleached photinia hedging with a 6ft clear stem and 4ft head.
